From a distance of [ ], I heard squirrel feet hit the morning crust. I
hear the violence of [ ] writing, punctures, [ ] surface de[ ]tions.
On [ ] way to [ ] de[ ]tion—E, I saw—[ ] paused, de[ ]ting the
soft-consonant crunch of [ ] message. Would I have known to read it
[ ] the snow were less [ ]blemished, [ if ]
the air not [ ] fully reduced [ ] I found a bruise [ ] time
later. A bruise is not a hole which is some[ ] both added and
erased, but—never[ ]less—I was struck.
